Instructional design is more than just putting information in front of learners.
Instructional design has clear goals and gets your learners focused on the right things ...
provides context and perspective ...
compresses the learning process and saves time ...
engages learners with clear and meaningful content.

PORTFOLIO
I think the best training mimics what the learner will do in real life. So when designing and developing e-learning or instructor led training, I start with the question, "What should the learner be able to do after taking this course?" My goal as instructional designer is to enable each learner to do those things and do them well.
RESUME
I have been working as an instructional designer for global companies and continuing education associations for over twelve years. Previous careers I've had including web design, technical writing, internet operations management, and graphic design has honed my skills to help me be an effective and creative instructional designer.
ABOUT ME

I love to always be learning. Whether I am learning something new in my professional career or my personal life, I always feel the pull to learn more. Understanding and learning does not come easy for me, and I think that struggle has helped to mold me into an effective instructional designer, dissecting the complex and transforming it into consumable learning. That love of learning has turned into a fulfilling career in both corporate and continuing education environments.
