A Scenario-Based Course

Project Background
The client needed a training to help partners analyze a customer’s environment, diagnose the right solution, and sell the solution.
Course Highlights
Immersing the learners in a simulation of what they would do in the real world can effectively prepare the learners for sales conversations. I developed this course to help learners practice conversations and analyze an environment. Just like real life learners need to use various sources of information to analyze a customers situation. The learner uses articles from the internet, a job aid, and the responses from the scenario’s customer.


When good decisions are made, the learner sees that they have won the deal.
To help the learner tips and key ideas are also provided. Visual and written cues help the learner see the consequences and results of the choices they make and enable them to try again.

I conducted a needs analysis and developed the course including the extensive diagnostic tree, script, development in Storyline, and graphics. I also designed and developed the performance support material shown in one of the pictures above. During development, I collaborated with several SMEs to ensure accuracy and completeness of content.
